Watering your lawn
Since Houston is in a area considered borderline "Tropical", we get a lot of rain. However, we are also part of Texas which means additional watering requirements of your plants is dependant on a schedule around the rainfall . To avoid over-watering your lawn we recommend installation of an inexpensive rain shutoff device that allows you to program your system and have the program interrupted in the event of rain. There is a guide below but remember there are many factors that go into a true calculation of your time requirements. We make assumptions based on shading, grade of your property, humidity and several other factors so always re-adjust your system based on the condition of your plants and trees This is only meant to be a starting point for your watering
